Appeal to SM Cinema Baguio #ShowLarawan

Dear SM Cinema Baguio,

If there’s one quality Filipino movie I’ve been dying to watch this 2017, it’s Ang Larawan, the film adaptation of Larawan, The Musical – a musical based from National Artist for Literature Nick Joaquin’s three-act English play A Portrait Of The Artist As Filipino, with libretto by National Artist for Theater Rolando Tinio and music by composer Ryan Cayabyab.

I am saddened to learn, however, that it’s not yet showing in your movie theaters this December 25. Having just quite a few access to live theaters and musicals in our small, provincial city, this is among the closest we can get in Baguio. Judging from the story line, the casts, artists, and producers, and and the trailer itself, this is a film Baguio peeps shouldn’t miss. I’m also sure I’m not the only Baguio person who feels this way.

Please reconsider showing Ang Larawan in Baguio. Thank you very much!
